Pass City Tour 1 Day – If you get this ticket you can get a good overview of the city and its sites. The circular route takes 1.5 hours and passes by 40 Paris monuments. The tour bus leaves from Madeleine or Notre-Dame/St. Michel throughout the day (on the hour in the off season and every half hour in the high season). Price: €17 for adults and €5 for children.

Pass City Tour 1 Day – Unlimited Hop-On-Hop-Off

With this ticket the route is the same as the above tour but you can hop-on and hop-off wherever you want, as many times as you want throughout the day. So instead of just getting a general overview of the city you can actually sightsee. The tour stops at Madeleine, Opera, Notre-Dame, Champs-Elysees, Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower. Price: €20 for adults, €5 for children. The tour can be combined with a 1 hour Seine cruise for €29 or a 1 hour snacking cruise for €34. The cruises leave from the Eiffel Tower.  

Paris by Night Tour – This tour is run twice nightly at 7pm and 9pm. The tour departs from Madeleine or from Notre-Dame and takes 1.5 hours. Price: Adults pay €20 and kids €10.

The Bus & Boat Pars City Tour - This tour combines the 1.5 hour city bus tour of Paris with a 1 hour cruise down the Seine. You don't have to take both tours on the same day but can take them within 2 days of each other. The bus stops close to the boarding point near the Eiffel Tower so if you do want to do both on the same day you can easily get from the bus stop to the boarding point. Price: Adults pay €26 and children pay €10. There is also a Paris City Tour & Snack Tour which gives you the same package as described above together with a meal on board. The meal consists of a hot or cold drink, Croque-Monsieur (a toasted ham and cheese sandwich) or a pasta dish. Price: Adults pay €30 and kids pay €15. For both these combo tours you can choose between the day or night city bus tour of Paris. 

Advantages for Families

Under 4 year olds ride for free and there are special discounted prices for kids aged 4 to 11 years when accompanied by an adult. On the website it states that the discount for children is according to 1 child per paying adults but when purchasing the tickets online I found that even with one adult and 3 children all the children got the discount.

Tickets can be purchased online at the Foxity website, your ticket is emailed to you, you print it up and show it to the bus driver when you arrive at the departure point. They also have audio specifically for kids that make it interesting for them to learn about the city.
