This dazzling family show amazes audiences with bubble magic, a blend of science and artistry. The interactive show uses laser lights, lighting effects and bubble artistry. The show is a fun filled, happy and unbubblievable extravaganza.
This is not a production where the audience sits quietly paying attention. Here the audience is constantly standing, clapping, reaching their hands up in the air, participating, gasping with amazement and laughing. The interactive element of the show even has kids being invited onto the stage to be put inside bubbles. This is the only interactive show of its kind in the world.
The bubble magic includes bubbles being created in long chains, bubbles filled with smoke, colored bubbles, different shaped bubbles, members of the audience being put inside bubbles and more. Using a mix of science and dramatic presentations the bubble artists constantly surprise the audience by doing things with bubbles that you didn't think were possible.
Fan Yang is the bubble artist who created the show, he is a Vietnamese born Canadian famed for his elaborate bubble performances. He created his own unique bubble solution and various apparatus for producing different shapes and quantities of bubbles.
Fan Yang has performed on all the leading talk shows and has been favorably reviewed by top theater critics. Yang holds several world records including the largest soap bubble in the world, largest bubble wall, most bubbles inside each other (9) and the most people (100) inside a single soap bubble which was achieved on The Oprah Winfrey Show. If you attend a performance of the Gazillion Bubble Show in NYC you'll see Fan Yang or his wife, son, daughter or brother performing.
The show lasts for an hour without an intermission and it is suitable for all ages. The show plays at 11am and 2pm on Wednesdays, 7pm on Fridays, 11am, 2pm and 4:30pm on Saturdays and 12pm and 3pm on Sundays. There are no performances on Thursdays, Mondays and Tuesdays. There are additional performances during school vacations and you can see a full schedule on the Gazillion Bubble Show website.
