The Ivy Market Grill, London

At the Ivy, the service is just as amazing as the food. As one of the most popular restaurants in London, the Ivy sees its fair share of celebrities and is the perfect spot of lunch if you are looking for an afternoon treat with your teen daughter!

The Food

Only the finest modern British meals are served at the Ivy Market Grill. The menu is quite wide and offers a variety of things, something for everyone in fact! We had the Arancini balls to start which were absolutely delicious! The fried Arborio rice balls are encompassed with truffle cheese! Amazing!

 Don't miss these. Our salads were amazing- for me a Crispy duck salad which had lovely crispy duck with a five spice dressing, toasted cashews, watermelon, beansprouts, coriander and ginger! It was simply divine! My daughter chose a chicken salad and was very happy with the delicate flavours of the different salad leaves and tasty dressing.

Some of the other notable selections available British classics such as eggs benedict, Shepherd’s Pie, lamb or smoked salmon. The Ivy takes its attention to detail very seriously and things just seem to flow flawlessly.

We enjoyed a beautiful rich Chocolate bombe for dessert, served with vanilla ice cream and a honeycomb centre with hot salted caramel sauce, it was divine!!

The surroundings

Upon entry, you will notice the green velvet seating and the crisp white tablecloths, which is a setting that has been retained by the restaurant for over 150 years.Simply divine! 

The décor is very glamorous and art deco inspired; modern art pieces are scattered all over the room giving the space a modern but still classic look. 

The service

The staff at the Ivy Market Grill live up to the restaurant’s name as everything is so effortlessly executed. We really enjoyed our lunch and cant wait to come again on our next London weekend away!
