Best Family Hotel in NYC

This hotel is located conveniently in the city center close to most of the sites, it offers not only comfort, service and amenities but the big plus is their approach to families. You won't have to tip-toe around not to disturb the other guests, the 3 star hotel is lively and vibrant and has won Trip Advisor awards. Even the décor is colorful and in the Plaza Central you can relax and use the hotel's Google laptops and TVs. The hotel has a 24/7 fitness center, a roof top balcony in season, in-room laptop safes and a full concierge service. It really is a great choice for family vacations.

The hotel restaurant, Gastro Bar at 35th serves a wide range of tapas, breakfast and dinner, although there is not a kid's menu they do serve "chicken lollipops" and mac&cheese.

For those traveling alone or as a couple TRYP has deluxe rooms with queen or king beds, some have two queen beds and others have city views and a fold-out sleeper sofa. TRYP has some of the largest rooms in Manhattan and when you're traveling with kids that's a big plus. In fact they have rooms which can accommodate up to 8 people. You won't feel like you're stuffed in either as the ceilings are 10 feet high!  

The family rooms include a 411 square foot (125m²) room with 1 king bed and bunk beds (4 people); family room with 2 queen beds and bunk beds (6 people) and a family room with 2 queen beds, bunk beds and a sleeper sofa (8 people). The family rooms have two bathrooms which come with slippers and bathrobes. Not only will there be room for everyone (sleep area and living space) but the amenities in the room will meet your every need.

The living area is equipped with 2 TVs, free WiFi, iPod docking stations, MP3 connectivity and a Wii game system is available on request. The room has a kitchenette with a fridge, coffee maker and there is an iron, and ironing board. If you or your kids are hi-tech enthusiasts there is also the Samsung Experience Room which can sleep 4 people.

Here you'll find gadgets like a 60° flat screen 3D TV and 3D glasses, SmartTV, Blu-ray player, a popcorn machine, a mind-blowing sound system as well as the other amenities mentioned above. When booking a room at TRYP for your family you'll notice that guests are considered "children" up to 17 years old.
